What made you want to get involved with the Post-Garza County Endowment?

I wanted to help create a vehicle that could become and agent of change for our community.

What is an Endowment?

A fund that is created by donations and is then invested and the earnings are used to support projects and nonprofits in your community.

What is the most rewarding part of being on the board?

Seeing what positive things can occur with proper funding.

What is one thing you wish people knew about the Post-Garza County Endowment?

How is actually works.  How their gift keeps on giving forever.

What would you say to encourage people to donate or apply for funding?

I would asked them if they want a better community and if they do, to donate to the endowment to ensure that occurs.

For the people who need to apply for funding, I would tell them if they want to accomplish their goals, they need money and the money is there and available, so apply.
