Post-Garza County Endowment Grant Story: Garza County Trailblazers

Garza County Trailblazers fed nearly 100 home-bound and congregate seniors in the community last year with funding from the Post-Garza County Endowment. Hot, nutritional meals were delivered five days a week and provided seniors with peace of mind. Every meal accounted for 1/3 of the dietary guidelines for people 60 years of age and older. These meals contribute to overall wellness, as well as, mental and emotional health. Garza County Trailblazers said, “The seniors enjoy the food and visiting with the staff and home deliverers.”
